Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the Restock mobile and web application (the "Application"), created by Itzack Devops (the "Service Provider"), collects, uses, and shares your information. Restock is provided as a freemium service and is intended for use "AS IS". By using the Application you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

To provide the Application we collect:

Account information — your email address, and (if you sign in with Google) your name and profile photo, used to authenticate you.
Content you create — shopping lists, stock/inventory items, prices you log, and the email addresses you enter to invite people to a shared group.
Usage and diagnostics — device type, operating system, app interactions, and crash reports, collected automatically to keep the Application reliable.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to operate and improve the Application: to authenticate you, store and sync your lists and stock, power suggestions and price history, share data within the groups you create, diagnose crashes, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing Within Groups

Restock is collaborative. When you add someone to a group by email, the lists, stock, and price history in that group become visible to every member of that group, and content other members add becomes visible to you. Only share groups with people you trust. If you invite an email that does not yet have an account, that person gains access to the group's data when they later sign in with that email.

Third-Party Services

The Application relies on Google Firebase to authenticate users, store data, and monitor stability. These providers process data under their own privacy policies:

Google Privacy Policy (Google Sign-In, Google Play services)
Firebase Privacy and Security (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics)

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from within the Application (Settings → Delete account); doing so permanently removes your profile, your lists and stock, the groups you own, and your learned price history, and removes you from any groups you had joined. You can also export a copy of your data from Settings before deleting.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live — including under Brazil's LGPD and similar laws — you have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal data. Restock provides in-app data export and account deletion to help you exercise these rights; for any other request, contact us using the details below.

Children

The Application is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.

Security

We use commercially reasonable measures, including provider-managed authentication and access rules, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Restock (the "Application"), provided by Itzack Devops (the "Service Provider"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application.

The Service

Restock is a collaborative shopping list and pantry manager offered as a freemium service and provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.

Your Account

You must provide an accurate email address and, for password accounts, verify it before use. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Application for any unlawful purpose, to abuse or disrupt the service, to attempt to bypass its security, or to add other people's email addresses to groups without a legitimate reason to share with them.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create (lists, stock, prices). You grant the Service Provider the limited rights needed to store, process, and display that content in order to operate the Application, including sharing it with members of groups you participate in. You are responsible for the content you add and for the emails you invite.

Termination

You may stop using the Application and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is abusive or harmful.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Application, and the Application is provided without warranty as described above.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Application after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
